Product Description

CYTC-104D series withstand voltage testing system is composed of controlling box or console(including voltage regulator), testing transformer and necessary fittings. They are designed according to international standard, applying to under rated voltage insulation strength testing of various electric products, electric components, insulating material, etc. By detecting the insulation level to find out test object's insulating defect and the ability of overvoltage. The power frequency hipot testing equipment is widely used in electric department, scientific research, colleges, laboratory and so on.

Operating Procedures
1. Prepare testing site, then connect equipment wires, it's better to arrange professional worker to operate or guide.
2. Well adjust the digital current relay according to test object's capacity and rated voltage before operating.(Remark: the overcurrent parameter is formularily designed according to the controller's max output current, please don't exceed the max current value.)
3. Connect the power switch, press the power transmitting button, then the connector getting actuation. The voltage regulator's power signal light turns off, power transmitting signal light turns on, then you can carry out the voltage rising test.
4. Slowly and clockwise adjust the voltage regulator's handle, watching the voltage meter(voltage rises at 3kV per second is better). When the voltage rises to the test object's regulated withstand voltage value, press the timing button, and closely watch the test object's situation.
5. When it reaches to the test object's regulated withstand voltage period, the console will alarm, which means the test object is qualified at withstand voltage. Then anticlockwise adjust the voltage regulator's handle to zero. Press the "Stop" button and cut off the power.
6. During voltage rising or withstand voltage testing, if it comes to overvoltage, please anticlockwise adjust the knob to regulated voltage value.
7. During the testing, if the current meter shows that the current value has exceeded regulated range, please stop rising voltage immediately, find out the reasons, then test again.
8. During voltage rising or withstand voltage testing, if it happens to short-circuit, flash-over, breakdown or other overcurrent situations, the current relay will act to make the voltage regulator turning off automatically, it means the test object is not qualified. Then adjust the voltage regulator to zero and restore the timing button, convenient for next operation.
